Review of Undercover Snacks, a chocolate treat full of quinoa.
I was lucky to happen upon Undercover Snacks at a food festival and take home samples of their most popular flavors.
These chocolate treats are free of gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, eggs, soybeans, fish, shellfish, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.

UNDERCOVER SNACKS CHOCOLATE CRISPY QUINOA REVIEW
Prepare to be OVERwhelmed by Undercover Snacks.
I still recall the moment when I first bit into their chocolate treat. It unequivocally reminded me of a Nestle Crunch Bar with the chocolaty goodness and light crisps… EXCEPT this was even better.
The chocolate in Undercover Snacks is richer and the crisps are actually quinoa (pronounced KEEN-wah) instead of rice, and there’s so many of them! Quinoa is a superfood or supergrain that is high in protein and fiber, which makes this treat healthier and good for you. It’s also gluten-free.
Their tagline “Healthy Ingredients in Disguise” totally makes sense now!
The kids’ top choice is the Milk Chocolate Crispy Quinoa. Keeping it simple makes kids happy.
My favorite is the Milk Chocolate Currants Crispy Quinoa. The added tang from the currants nicely balances out the sweetness of the chocolate.
I had high hopes for the Dark Chocolate + Blueberries Crispy Quinoa but I just didn’t taste any blueberries. Maybe I was unlucky and got one that didn’t have any. Too bad, I love blueberries.
We also tried the Dark Chocolate + Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate + Seeds which tasted just fine.↓ FIND IT HERE ↓
