We like the tube of Trader Joe’s Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls with Vanilla Icing from the refrigerated section. Allergy info is near the bottom of this post.

It’s so easy to make, you can even prep it the night before.

INGREDIENTS:

Cinnamon roll: wheat flour, water, palm oil, cane sugar, powdered sugar (cane sugar, corn starch), baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda), canola oil, dextrose, cinnamon, sea salt, sunflower oil, wheat starch, natural flavor, xanthan gum, beta carotene (color)

Vanilla icing: powdered sugar (cane sugar, corn starch), water, cane sugar, invert cane syrup, palm oil, salt, xanthan gum, locust bean gum, natural flavor, guar gum, rice extract.

Just open the tube of cinnamon rolls, cut the dough into smaller pieces, combine with eggs, milk alternative, and apple pieces. Let sit for 30 minutes so the egg soaks in, then bake.

Although apples are not required, they really add a healthful component to this dish. Feel free to use any fruit you like or even a combo. Try blueberries, strawberries, pears, cherries, peaches, etc.

After the casserole cools, it’s time to add the final touch, the icing!

The tube of cinnamon rolls includes a packet of vanilla icing. Drizzle the icing onto the casserole.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube Cinnamon Rolls refridgerated
  • 2 eggs
  • Cup milk alternative
  • 1 apple sliced and cubed (optional)

Instructions

  1. Open the tube of cinnamon rules and separate out each roll.

  2. Cut each roll into quarters.

  3. Beat 2 eggs.

  4. Add into a 7x11 baking dish, add cinnamon roll wedges, beaten eggs, and apple pieces.

  5. Stir to combine.

  6. Let sit for 30 minutes so the dough can absorb the eggs.

  7. Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes.

  8. Let cool.

  9. Drizzle the icing from the cinnamon roll tube onto the casserole.
