HEALTHY PUMPKIN RECIPES NO SUGAR
With no sugar added, the honey adds the right amount of natural sweetness with a slight floral taste.
Honey offers potential health benefits from its antioxidant content.
Note that children under 1 year of age should not eat honey, as it’s associated with a risk of botulism.
HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN PIE SORBET
Gather your ingredients: bananas, pumpkin puree, honey, and pumpkin pie spice.
Make sure to get ingredients that are safe for your food allergies. Contact manufacturers to check for facility information.
In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend thoroughly.
For this recipe, I used my trusty Vitamix 5200 Blender. I love how easily it blends up everything evenly.
You can use fresh or frozen bananas.
Optionally add some lemon zest for added flavor.
Pour mixture into a freezer friendly container and freeze for several hours until completely frozen.
