RASPBERRY WOWBUTTER RICE CRISPY TREATS
NUT FREE, DAIRY FREE, SEED FREE
When my kids were diagnosed with food allergies, we had to find alternate snacks that were nut free, dairy free, and seed free. These raspberry Wowbutter rice crispy treats fulfilled that void of the ever-present Rice Krispies Treats in the blue wrapper, but with a wonderful twist.
WOWBUTTER TREATS FOR VALENTINE’S DAY
We’ve been making this recipe for years now without this tasty twist and it’s been a kid favorite. However, for Valentine’s Day, we wanted to add a “Valentiney” theme to this. We added raspberry powder to our usual rice crispy treats and it added a slight tanginess. Love!

WOWBUTTER RICE CRISPY TREATS
Typical rice krispie treat recipes usually include marshmallows, butter, or peanut butter, but that doesn’t work for us. My kids are allergic to nuts, dairy, and seeds so we use soy (or soynut – same thing) butter to replace the peanut butter.
Some people like to replace peanut butter with sunflower butter, but that’s a seed, so it’s not an option for us. Let me know if you try it, I’m pretty sure it would substitute nicely. We’ve been using this WowButter made from soybeans! It’s a favorite! It’s non-GMO and the oil does not separate.
NO SUGAR
Trying to lessen the amount of processed sugar we eat, this recipe uses Brown Rice Syrup as the sweetener and thickener. It works magically! We like Lundberg Sweet Dreams Organic Brown Rice Syrup.
