WHY WOWBUTTER?
Wowbutter is a soy-based peanut butter alternative that is completely satisfying. It contains 7 grams of protein per serving of 2 Tablespoons.
Wowbutter ingredients: Whole toasted soy, pressed soy oil, cane sugar, palm oil (sustainable), sea salt.
For people with nut allergies, these cookies are a godsend. Instead of missing out, they can enjoy these Wowbutter cookies! The texture and taste are very similar to peanut butter cookies!
Wowbutter Spread is peanut free, tree nut free, gluten free, egg free, and dairy free. It is produced in a dedicated facility that manufactures only soy products. It does not need refrigeration after opening and ingredients are sourced from non-GMO sources.
So no worries about cross contamination.
And of course the most important reason we use Wowbutter is that my teen kids still love it and have been spreading it on their toast since they were young!

EASY TO MAKE WOWBUTTER COOKIES
This recipe is so simple. No special mixing equipment necessary.
Just put the 4 ingredients in a bowl and stir it up with a fork, spoon, or whatever you have!
Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and flatten each cookie to 1/2 inch height. They won’t spread. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. The hardest part will be waiting for them to cool off before taking a bite!
I baked these in my toaster oven 9 at a time, but you can use your regular oven to bake them all at once. Both work equally well!
Make a whole amazing batch and then another! You’ll seriously need enough to share with everyone. Trust me, kids and parents will both love them!
The texture is perfect and just like a cakey chocolate chip cookie. If you don’t like chocolate chips, feel free to leave them out or add in something else you do like.
FROZEN COOKIE DOUGH
After you shape the individual balls and flatten them, you can freeze them to bake at a later time.
Just lay them out on a pan without touching and place in freezer. After they’re frozen, place them in a Ziploc bag and keep it in the freezer.
When you’re ready for more fresh Wowbutter cookies, take out a few and let it come to room temperature, about 15 minutes, before baking as usual.
