Nut-free Pesto Vegan

This 3 ingredients pesto is so easy to make you won't believe it. It's ALLERGY FRIENDLY with NO NUTS and NO DAIRY. Perfect with pasta, on bread, with eggs, etc.

  • 4 Cups Fresh basil leaves packed (no stems), washed and dried
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • Cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt (optional)


  1. Place basil and garlic into food processor.

  2. Pulse and scrape down with a spatula a few times while drizzling in extra virgin olive oil.

  3. Optionally, add salt to taste.

  4. Use fresh or freeze into ice cubes for later use.

Recipe Notes

Makes 3/4 cup.

You can use less or more salt depending on your taste. Feel free to add black pepper.
