These dairy free, soy free, nut free, and seed free waffles will delight your taste buds and you'll love all the crunchy goodness it has to offer.

  • 1 ¾ Cup all purpose-flour
  • 1 Cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Cup rice milk or milk alternative or water
  • ½ Cup orange juice
  • ¼ Cup maple syrup
  • ½ Cup coconut oil, melted or oil of choice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • oil for greasing waffle iron


  1. Preheat waffle iron.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients.

  3. Mix the wet ingredients.

  4. Stir the wet into the dry ingredients.

  5. Use a silicone basting brush to grease the waffle iron. Dip in oil and brush on iron.

  6. Follow instructions for waffle iron for cooking waffles.

Recipe Notes

Makes about 10 waffles.

We use 1/3 Cup batter for each waffle in our waffle iron.
