Chocolate Hummus Without Tahini

A healthy hummus that tastes like dessert but is full of protein.

  • 15 oz garbanzo beans drained
  • 6 oz chocolate chips melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Add rinsed and drained garbanzo beans, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and salt to food processor.

  2. Mix until combined, about 30 seconds.

  3. Optionally add water to make hummus thinner.

  4. Store in fridge. When ready to eat, stir in a little warm water to thin hummus.
