It’s mouth-watering and delicious (even without pine nuts) and the aroma is amazing. One whiff and you’ll be taken to another world.

You’ll need your food processor to whip this baby out in no time. I used our 11 cup food processor to make this recipe. This Cuisinart Food Processor is a newer model of the one we have, as ours is lasting forever. Sixteen years and counting. I’d totally recommend it. I use it to make cookie dough, hummus, bread dough, muffin batter, nice cream, oat flour, and lots more. I seriously couldn’t live without this work horse.

- 4 Cups Fresh basil leaves (no stems), washed and dried
- 1 teaspoon Garlic minced
- ⅓ Cup Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Place basil and garlic into food processor.
Pulse and scrape down with a spatula a few times while drizzling in extra virgin olive oil.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Use fresh or freeze into ice cubes for later use.
Makes 2/3 cup.
